Corporate Partnerships

Projects Abroad Pro has a number of existing corporate Partnerships including Lovells law firm, Perception Matters, RJH Management, National Association of Licensed Paralegals, Jalebi Ltd and Fives Group. We have arranged for volunteers from these companies to put their skills to good use.

Kate Levine, from Lovells law firm in London, travelled to South Africa to undertake a Human Rights project and work alongside Theodore Kamwimbi at the Projects Abroad Human Rights Office.

Kate said of her experience,
“I'm off today back to the UK after a fantastic 4 weeks volunteering with Projects Abroad Human Rights Office. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help and advice pre and post arrival in South Africa. I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and have found the work at the Projects Abroad Human Rights Office highly rewarding. Needless to say I will be recommending Projects Abroad to friends and colleagues in the UK!”
Theodore, Human Rights Office Manager, said,
"Projects Abroad Human Rights Office organises an intensive internship programme which attracts people from all over the world to undertake awareness campaigning, monitoring and networking. The interns are offered a unique opportunity to get involved in different activities for raising awareness of human rights for at-risk groups. We are focused on empowering groups of vulnerable people and upholding basic human rights including but not limited to: Women, Children, Refugees and Asylum seekers, Prisoners, victims of sexual orientation discrimination, police monitoring and accountability, forced marriages, African customary law, child-trafficking, transitional justice, and other topics volunteers choose to focus on. Volunteers will help in different ways according to their different qualifications and levels of experience. Having someone with Kate’s skill-set makes a big difference to the development of the various projects we operate here in Cape Town.”
